I have been active and into all kinds of sports since I could walk! I am my happiest when my heart is beating and my body is moving. I never thought I would be into something like Yoga, as everything I did in my life was so fast paced. I worked in advertising, I did spinning and sweat1000 most days of the week, and thought that was all for me. Then I realized that pace was not sustainable, and got a rude awakening, when I hit a burn out. My whole life changed from there, which led me to my first Yoga class. It was love at first breath. Yoga works, all you have to do is arrive on your mat.
Lizet Mulder offers a steady and gentle practice of Vinyasa Slow Flow, Deep Stretch and Ashtanga Foundation. She has been teaching since studying and practicing under Ashtanga and Pranayama teacher Paul Dallaghan and his team at Samahita Retreat in 2014. Her practice and study of yoga disciplines continues as she dedicates herself to the yoga community and landscape of the winelands.
I came to Yoga late in life. Starting when he was sixty. He is a graduate of the first teacher training at the Hot Yoga Studio in Stellenbosch. He has a passion for Yin Yoga which he adapts into our Deep Stretch.
Roché van den Berg
Roché is an accredited yoga instructor attaining her credentials from The Hot Yoga Studio based in Stellebosch. Roché teaches yoga as a practise of caring for the soul, honouring our physical, emotional and mental limitations as a voice of the soul and becoming present and observant through breath and movement. Her classes have a strong focus on mindfulness, flexibility and strength, creating a beautiful balance for long lasting and continuous self-transformation.
I aim in moving towards fullness of our bodies natural motion and strength, while using awareness of our motion to tune in to an inner stillness.
